– HE TOPS THE TIME SHEETS BY MORE THAN HALF A SECOND
– HE’LL START THE RACE IN THE MERCEDES AMG GT3

Tom Onslow-Cole has qualified on pole for the 24H Series Zandvoort 12 Hours in the RAM Racing Mercedes AMG GT3, leading the pack of 30 cars by more than half a second.

The only driver on track to break one-minute 40-seconds mark, OC recorded a lap time of 1:39.580 and returned to the pits happy with the car ahead of this afternoon’s race.

“I’m really pleased with that,” he commented. “The team is doing a great job and the Mercedes AMG GT3 is responding well to all the little changes we’ve made in practice.”

Zandvoort 12 Hours is split into two sessions – part one of the race starting at 1600hrs local time today and the second part taking place tomorrow.

“For the race, we want to end the first part with full fuel and a nice set of tyres,” he continued. “But, that could be asking too much! The most important thing is to be on the lead lap and ready race going into tomorrow as we all get bunched up again at the restart.”
